50 Strikes back at the Grinch known as GZA

GZA, the Wu mastermind known for his hiphop masterpieces such as Liquid Swords and Beneath the Surface had it coming when he blasted 50 cent via youtube at one of his shows in London and New York, but when exactly was the flamboyant Queens rapper going to respond back was the question that everyone had on their minds. Let me first say that I've been a Wu-Tang fan long before a G-Unit fan and I'm not incline to side with any Rapper or Group over this but I must say that after hearing what the GZA had to say I had to put GZA on the shit list for the time being. He has to work his way out of the toilet and that shit aint easy! I am disappointed in GZA -- going at a 16 year old won't get you street cred or record sales. It's obvious that the G-Unit as a group was heavy influenced by the Wu; most of their mixtape songs are done over Wu-Tang beats and even their roles are similar. This alone should flatter GZA but the Grinch, as 50 calls him, states that 50 cent lacks talent ......blah..blah...yawn.....blah....bore....blah.... isn't this the same thing the Wu said of Diddy?!?!?! Who lacks talent 50 or U-God?!?! I mean why it is that whenever someone's making noise and getting money a Wu member comes out and starts hating?!?!? This is really getting tiring. Is that the only way GZA feels that he could gain much needed exposure by throwing darts at the most talked about rapper -- why not Jay-Z? Listen to what 50 cent has to say in response to this.

Notice how 50 puts emphasis on the Beef being between him and the GZA not the Wu but then vex someone in the background for screaming TICAL. Atleast we know who is 50's favorite Wu member (Mine is Bobby Digital).

Earth to GZA you're too old to be Beefing let alone hating on the next rapper making money!! What, how & whom determines talent? And as far as you referencing your relevance in hiphop -- keep it up and 5 years from now you'll be extinct. I don't know if you've noticed but hiphop today isn't the same as when you first stepped into the scene. Last I check - weren't Wu members rapping heavy on drugs, money, honeys, and gun topics

Hip-Hop Honors at Manhattan Court

Today was Hip-Hop Honors Day at the Manhattan Criminal Court in NYC. Special guests were Remy Ma, Busta Rhyme, JaRule, and Lil Wayne. You would have thought that a hot song was about to be recorded. They all appeared in court today for charges ranging from a misdemeanor to attempted murder. They didn't all arrive together: "It 's a coincidence," Remy Ma told the Daily News. This is not a good look for Hip-Hop at all. I'm not sure if this will increase their street cred but it'll sure help the prosecutors to put them in the pin. They all looked nice, especially Remy who finally took the dead rat off her head and added extentions. Jesus Freaks ask 50 Cent to Retire

No it’s not due to the fact that he didn’t honor his bet with Kanyizzle – save that for the G-Unot haters. The Resistance, a Christian media supervisory pac, is asking 50 to call it quits. They have called 50 the Redman himself (Satin) to everything ungodly in the Bible. “It is time for 50 Cent to be a man of his word, and retire. The world will be a better place when this satanic piece of filth retires and stops making music” said Mark Dice of the group. What about the other hip-hop artists who rap about the same thing: money, hoes, cars, clothes, I'll kill a N!#$@ ……hummmm? Maybe he's the only one who stands out. Apparently they’re urging people to hit up 50’s Myspace page and demanding that he fall back. Sure go ahead and give him the free hits and publicity: take a number and wait in line like the rest of them.

RUN'S HOUSE season premier Episode 1.

After watching the past seasons of Run’s House, I have grown to love these people. It’s as if I’m watching them grow right before my eyes. They’re the modern day Huxtable family with more of a hip-hop entrepreneurial twist. Ok, so the season has officially begun: not the MLB world Series but MTV’s Run’s House (and I say this with excitement). I must admit that the season premier didn’t hold up to my expectations but what should I have expected really – it’s supposed to be reality TV right?!?! I mean how many times can something major go down in one’s house or in this case Run’s House?

To recap and comment on the first episode – JoJo has officially graduated from high school and was rewarded with a nice BMW (it looks like a 3 series). As a result, Diggy and Russy felt that they should be rewarded because of their achievements of making the honor roll. The vibe came off as “I should always be rewarded whenever I do something good even if I should do it just because….” It’s great to do something good and be rewarded for it but you shouldn’t always expect something in return – I mean what lesson would you gain out of it? I.E. Just because you pay your rent on time every month doesn’t mean your landlord should reward you with a discounted rent – its part of the life cycle. It’s evident that they’re well off but just because they’re super rich doesn’t mean they should be consistently spoiled to death.

Vanessa and Angela a.k.a. the black Olsen twins (as JoJo once jokingly put it) are not just sisters but best friends and great business partners as well. They’ve decided that maybe New York City isn’t for them. Since spending the summer in L.A., they’ve grown to adore the scene and considered it as their potential place of residence. Who knows: Maybe the plush Manhattan apartment subsidized by Rev. Run isn’t enough space for the ladies to grow. Rev. decided that if it’s an L.A. pad that they want – they surely won’t be keeping the apartment in the city as a back up. So he got rid of the place. It may not have been what the girls wanted to hear but that’s what they needed to hear and sadly to say that’s life. Sometime the kids get carried away with being The Simmons’: Hip-Hop’s royal family but that is where Rev. Run come into play and keeps them grounded. As for Vanessa’s career with Guiding Light: her character’s stay was extended until the end of the summer as far as we know (but let’s cross our fingers to see if she can stay longer). This placed a hold on the girls’ idea of moving to L.A.; which leads them back to good ol’ New Jeerzeey. Angela wasn’t too happy about it but how bad could it be to live in the Simmons mansion?!?!?!

At the end JoJo gave the boys a gift for their achievements and the girls got to “stay their asses home” as the Rev said on last season’s (apartment searching) episode. All in all, the family is back together again and ready to show us what we’ve missed out on and have yet to see. I’m sure that they have great projects lined up, funny moments, and lessons to teach so stay tuned.

Lesson Learned: You should always do the right thing without expecting anything in return.

I wish I would’ve seen more/ less: It would have been great to see JoJo’s graduation as we saw Angela’s. Was it not a big deal?!?! Also, what exactly is JoJo going to school for? And what’s up with Angela’s schooling? She was so quick to jump the gun and move to L.A. without considering school as an object – what’s that all about? Humm…

Anyways feel free to leave your comments people and check out the exclusive Run’s House page coming soon on http://www.clmnews.com/ http://www.clmnews.com/Entertainment_Sub_Pages/People/50_Cent.html. but in the mean time you can search celebrity pages such as 50 cent, Kanye, and Britney to name a few.
